Family dinner to morn MJ loss!!

My brother and his wife and son came over for dinner, we were talking about which was there favourite MJ song, Music and me, You are not alone, You rock my world...all came up, everyone in the world will have a favourite MJ song, and if he didn't know how to express himself, he did it through his music.

My condolences go out to his family especially his mother who will be inconsolable as he had a close connection with his mother, I am still reeling from the shock, Everyone in the world knows his name, A.K.A The King of Pop, I was on the phone to my husband this morning, and turned on the news, and saw the breaking news title, I was telling him, and he thought I was lying, His music had an effect on alot of people, he had loyal followers through thick and thin, and everyone even me was looking forward to his come back tour. I am still crying and sending alot of love to his family!!! :((

He defined music and fashion for many decades, and he will live on forever and forever in our hearts!!

Samba!!

This is our goegeous tutor.....I went to samba and took a friend who had never tired it before, she loved it, and we built up soooo much sweat, my legs were jelly at the end of the session, but great exercise and great fun.

I needed it......but Cristina killed us....

This is my childhood friend who has been there for me through everything, I am fortunate to have her in my life, she has been going through some hard trials and tribulations, and not once has she ever complained, she has two gorgeous kids, (my God-children), Koda and Heaven-Lee, and she still manages to stay positive, I am truly blessed to have her in our lives, and my husband simply adores her.

Another mile stone....I weighed in at Tony Ferguson, and I lost 1.8kgs, However, I weighed in at my freinds house, and it showed me I lost 2.2 kgs, I like her scales better, so I have been abit lazy with exercise this week, But I will keep pushing myself! And I have been in a foul mood today, maybe it's because I need a fat juicy hamburger!!! yummo....

God works in mysterious ways!!

The brand new pastor and his wife, newly assigned to their first Ministry, to reopen a church in suburban Brooklyn, arrived in Early October excited about their opportunities. When they saw their Church, it was very run down and needed much work. They set a goal to Have everything done in time to have their first service on Christmas Eve. They worked hard, repairing pews, plastering walls, painting, Etc, and on December 18 were ahead of schedule and just about finished. On December 19 a terrible tempest - a driving rainstorm hit the Area and lasted for two days. On the 21st, the pastor went over to the church. His heart sank when he saw that the roof had leaked, causing a Large area of plaster about 5 feet by 4 feet to fall off the front Wall of the sanctuary just behind the pulpit, beginning about head High. The pastor cleaned up the mess on the floor, and not knowing What else to do but postpone the Christmas Eve service, headed home. On the way he noticed that a local business was having a flea Market type of sale for charity so he stopped in. One of the items was A beautiful, handmade, ivory colored, crocheted tablecloth with Exquisite work, fine colors and a Cross embroidered right in the Center. It was just the right size to cover up the hole in the front wall. He Bought it and headed back to the church. By this time it had started to snow. An older woman running >From the opposite direction was trying to catch the bus. She missed it. The pastor invited her to wait in the warm church for the next bus 45 minutes later. She sat in a pew and paid no attention to the pastor while he Got a ladder, hangers, etc., to put up the tablecloth as a wall Tapestry. The pastor could hardly believe how beautiful it looked and It covered up the entire problem area. Then he noticed the woman walking down the center aisle. Her Face was like a sheet.. "Pastor," she asked, "where did you get that Tablecloth?" The pastor explained. The woman asked him to check the lower Right corner to see if the initials, EBG were crocheted into it there. They were. These were the initials of the woman, and she had made This tablecloth 35 years before, in Austria. The woman could hardly believe it as the pastor told how he had Just gotten the Tablecloth. The woman explained that before the war She and her husband was well-to-do people in Austria. When the Nazis came, she was forced to leave. Her husband was going to follow her the next week. He was captured, sent to prison and never saw her husband or her Home again. The pastor wanted to give her the tablecloth; but she made the Pastor keep it for the church. The pastor insisted on driving her home, that was the least he Could do.. She lived on the other side of Staten Island and was only In Brooklyn for the day for a housecleaning job. What a wonderful service they had on Christmas Eve. The church Was almost full. The music and the spirit was great. At the end of The service, the pastor and his wife greeted everyone at the door And many said that they would return. One older man, whom the pastor recognized from the neighborhood Continued to sit in one of the pews and stare, and the pastor Wondered why he wasn't leaving. The man asked him where he got the tablecloth on the front wall Because it was identical to one that his wife had made years ago when They lived in Austria before the war and how could there be two Tablecloths so much alike. He told the pastor how the Nazis came, how he forced his wife to Flee for her safety and he was supposed to follow her, but he was Arrested and put in a prison.. He never saw his wife or his home again All the 35 years in between. The pastor asked him if he would allow him to take him for a Little ride. They drove to Staten Island and to the same house where The pastor had taken the woman three days earlier. He helped the man climb the three flights of stairs to the woman's apartment, knocked on the door and he saw the greatest Christmas reunion he could ever imagine. True Story - submitted by Pastor Rob Reid. Who says God does not Work in mysterious ways.. So when the road you're traveling on seems Difficult at best.. When there is nothing! Left but God, that is when you find out That God is all you need.

Brunch & my Hunny's gift!!!

Had brunch with the girls, nice crossants, breakfast wine, Campos coffee, Lorraine makes the best fluffy eggs, and great company, then we went for a walk to a grarage sale, and then we came back and settled into a Bollywood movie, it worked out well as it rained all afternoon. Nice clean movie, with lots of colour and dancing, Then I get a call from My hunnys cousin, telling me he just got back from Egypt, and he has a gift for me from my hunny. I go over to meet him, and it is a beautiful gold, wrist, ring, watch bracelet. (I think thats what it is), Its beautiful, but all my jewellery is silver, and he knows this!! but he keeps buying me gold, However, I acknowledge my other halfs effort, and Thank him!!

Had a great day today, met my Samoan friend who reminds me soooo much of mother, I love her spirit, and her Faasamoa, she makes me so proud to be a Samoan, she took me to lunch at the bowling club, I love hearing the stories of the good old days, Thank you lord that she is in my life!!

I have always followed Chelsea, but he played for Man U, now he will be playing for Real Madrid, the amount of $$$ they paid for him is phenomenal, even though he is hot, his Soccer does the talking for him, I guess I can only dream...and dreams are free!!

Then I just saw the news, and He went out with Paris Hilton, I cannot stand this girl (its not jealousy), She is overly photographed, for what, she does nothing, but poses all day, I can't stand her, with all that money, do something...e.g (World hunger)

Weigh in!! woohoo!! I lost 1.5 kgs

I went to weigh in this morning, and I lost 1.5kgs, even the girl at Tony Ferguson couldnt believe my weight, said I did not look that heavy, but I am really solid, so muscle is heavier than fat, (I will keep telling myself that), then I went to see Terminator Salvation with my Persian friend who leaves for Germany in a months time, it was aight!!

Then we walked around, and I went and got a chocolate truffle to celebrate my weight loss!! Will push to keep it up!!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY!!

I had a job interveiw, and I sold myself, "nothing to lose, everything to gain", I went in knowing I would get the job....For lunch I had miso soup and x3 sushi rolls, I went to my old company to get my payout, and my demands were met, I then went to see Angels and Demons, made me want to go to the Vatican, then I met a great friend for a drink and dinner ( 2 malibu & cokes and a club sandwich with small fries) at the Marriott!!

What a day....

I had a huge fight with the bank manager this morning, I paid off my credit card in full 2 weeks ago, only to find out that I was still owing $200, I said to him what was the purpose in getting a pay out figure, whenn I paid it, you telling me its close, and then I still owe money, how can you charge a closed credit card account, I was livid, I told them to waive that fee, I am not paying it, we came to an agreement, and he waived that fee, and I asked him to give me a finalisation letter, saying that it is paid in full...what a morning???

AND THEN...

I left the company I was working 4 weeks ago, and they are still stalling in paying out my redundancy, I threatened them with my lawyers letter last week, then they tried to offer my position back, but in a different team, on lower wages...are they for real, I mean what the??? So I am working ofr another company, and waiting for my payout, if I do not get it, then I will be taking this up with my lawyer, issues I do not need in my life.

Movies and a bad day!!

Went to see the ghosts from girlfriends past, it was a cinema full of young teeny boppers, I had snakes (sugar free), popcorn and sushi, then I caught up with my Samoan mate, and it was all Island food for dinner, yummo! Chop suey and rice, tea and tim tams for cup of tea, I just have no will power when it comes to food!
I did do a 40 minute walk though!

AIR FRANCE!

I was saddend when I heard about the plane crash 6 days ago, and I did a prayer for them, my prayers and thoughts to the people on the plane, and the loved ones who are still reeling from the shock of there loss. My condolences to the families!! :(

Friends in my life!!

My beautiful muslim friend got me out of a bed this morning 8am for a walk around the park, and some boxing drills, it was great I needed it after maccas last nite! I had my morning shake (chocolate), a nice pear with some dried apricots, I got this awesome cd from NZ, and I am dancing around in my living room while spring cleaning on a beautiful Sunday morning. I have a beautiful Muslim friend who has been diagnosed with cancer, My love, prayer and thoughts are with you, I am truly honoured to have you and your family in my life...mashallah!!

Missing my family!

My brother is back in NZ with his cute kids, and I am missing them terribly, because we have lost both our mom and dad, we rely on each other for a lot of support, My brother has been sick, and is wife has chronic asthma, always in my thoughts bro, miss yous!! xoxoxo

Emotional eating!

Was feeling abit down, so I drove over to get maccas...I know...I know...fillet meal, 6 pack nuggets, and an apple pie later at 11.30pm....feeling guilty but satisfied!! :((

The passing of my mother!

My beautiful mother passed away in 2005 from cancer, and I miss her every day, My husbands father has cancer of the prostate, and my husband is in Egypt with his father, while I am stuck back here working to keep the bills and funds above board, my prayers and thoughts go out to your dad hunny!!! :(

Food today!

Not feeling well today, so I stayed in bed and watched dvds, I was going to go for a walk, but my feet hurt from dancing last nite.

MY BFF!

My BFF left for Nz today, so we all went to vivaz to party and eat, and sip on sangrias, they had a band playing which wasnt very good, it was more Cumbia music, but we just wanted to salsa, I wanted to samba, I had sore feet and blisters from dancing so I mellowed out, this is apart of my weight loss as I am carrying too much weight which is why I have to sit down due to my lack of energy, hopefully that will change while doing my healthy eating plan.

I woke up this morning to beautiful sushine, and thank lord for great things, my hunny rung from Egypt, as he can't sleep, we had a good a laugh, I miss and love you so much hunny, we will see each other soon...inshallah!!! :((

Welcome everyone to my new Journey!

Hello everyone,
As of today, I have started the Tony Ferguson programme, I was shocked when I weighed in at 151kgs last nite, and I have to focus on this weight loss, I have a wedding coming up, I am going overseas, and would like to fit in the air plane seat.
I get sore feet when I walk around, I cannot wear heels, I would love to walk into a shop and try anything on the rack, not stand around waiting for friends who are trying on clothes in the changing room...as you can see I love to dance!!
This is my new journey to weight loss, all your comments and encouragement is welcomed!
